Our coasteering guides don't coasteer just for a job. They love it and spend most of their free time in the sea, exploring new venues and honing skills. As we use over 30 locations in the South West we have to be ready to coasteer in any conditions at any venue. We have all the relevant qualifications and insurance as well as years of experience in adventure sports.
Keith is the founder of Go Coasteering. He is passionate about the sport and is the author of the South West Coasteering Guide, available now. Keith has been in the industry since 2001 and as well as being a guide he is a white water kayak and open canoe coach.
Mick is a freelance instructor and as well as being an excellent and experienced guide he is a keen climber, kayaker and freediver. Mick has coasteered all over the South West and his input over the years has been invaluable.
Maddy has been in the industry for years. She is a kayak and canoe coach, climber, surfer, biker and a strong dependable guide. Maddy helped recce a lot of the venues in the early days.
Aaron does it all, guiding, kayak and canoe coaching and he is awesome on a downhill bike. Aaron has worked with us for over 5 years and he is a safe and solid guide. He also freelances for other company's and has a huge amount of experience in the outdoor industry.
Ben is also a multi activity coach. His real passions are coasteering and mountain biking. Ben put in a lot of ground work exploring all over the South West looking for new venues. He is great with nervous clients and brings a bit of calm to the team.
Jon is the boy wonder of the team. He has been working in adventure sports for 5 years and has developed skills in many disciplines. He is a super keen downhill biker as well as an enthusiastic guide.
Adam's speciality is coasteering in South Devon. He is a Torquay boy with a huge amount of sea experience. As well as a majestic beard , Adam has skills in climbing, canoeing and other water sports.
Nick has been building has vast array of outdoor adventure experiences over the last few years. He kayaks, canoes, surfs and most importantly he has a passion for coasteering. Nick also likes to travel, most winters he heads off to foreign soils for exotic adventures.
Simon has done most jobs in the industry, instructor training, surf coach, alpine kayak guide and a whole lot more. He lives in Bude where he can be seen on his stand up paddle board most days. Dolph is also a mad keen coasteering enthusiast and bacon sandwich lover.
Matt is a Cornish lad well known for his red bull, work and shoe addictions. He is also a top freelancer in the South West, working for a massive variety of providers. He is a recent convert to white water kayaking and still finds time to get out in the sea.
Dave is a jack of all trades. He loves the water but is also at home on the crag. He has recently joined the dark side and become a freelance guide/instructor and we are glad to have him on board. Dave also has experience dealing with groups of all ages and ability’s.
