Gorge Scrambling Devon

Gorge scrambling or gorge walking is very popular in Devon. It involves ascending a gorge while making the most out of all the natural features such as slides, sumps, caves and jumps. You will wear a wetsuit, buoyancy aid and a helmet which will keep you safe and warm. It is an activity for adults and children and we can tailor the route to suit your needs. It is as close to Canyoning as we get in the South West.

Gorge Scrambling - Dartmoor

Dartmoor is covered in wild rivers and gorges. We use two amazing sites.

Okehampton - This route feels more like a jungle exploration. The gorge is only 15 mins from Okehampton and 30 mins from Exeter. Head into the woods and crawl through the undergrowth to find this hidden gem.

Dewerstone - This popular site has 2 routes which cater for different group types. Slide and scramble through the mystical Dewerstone woods. It is easily accessible from Plymouth and Tavistock.
